Kurt becomes emotionally deeply involved in the young Amanda who come into the police station and report his mother Julia disappeared. Pretty soon found Julia's body badly burned down on the beach at the family villa. Kurt suspect Amanda's father Erik as the culprit because he has a motive, and it resembles a broken family drama. But Erik seems to protect someone, there's a surveillance film in Julia's computer, and he knows things that he does not seem to want to disclose. Martinsson worry Kurt over time becoming more forgetful, he forgets people's names, where he leaves his things. Is he suitable for the investigation and take the family harm? Linda is not worried but she turns a blind eye to the obvious?
